Sinks and bowls maintenance
Acrylic sinks and bowls are distinguished by its ecological features; they do not absorb water or any other liquids. It is very easy to keep them clean. However, there are some rules of care and maintenance you need to follow.
Acrylic Sinks and Bowls Care and Maintenance Rules
Boiling Water Impact
Always turn on the cool water prior to pouring the boiling water out from your cookware into a solid surface sink. DO NOT use your solid surface product in temperature conditions higher that 115 degrees Celcius.
Shredder Impact
DO NOT install any kind of shredder device on a solid surface sink. A permanent vibration can damage it.
Hot Objects Impact
Hot objects can damage the surface of an acrylic sink. Thus put a silicone or rubber pad on a sink bottom before you place your hot cookware, pan etc.
Heavy and Sharp Objects Impact
To avoid sinks damage, DO NOT drop heavy or sharp objects into the sink or bowl.
Chemicals Impact
DO NOT expose your solid surface sink or bowl to harsh substances and chemicals (i.e. solvent, turpentine, oven and sink cleaners etc.). If the solid surface sink or bowl has been already exposed to them, try to wash them away as soon as it is possible, regarding general precautions.
Hot Air Impact
DO NOT expose your solid surface sink or bowl to any hot air devices (i.e. professional fan) or gas burners.
Abrasive Substances Impact
The surface of acrylic sink or bowl should be cleaned with soft sponge or cloth with non-abrasive cleanser. DO NOT use abrasive cleansers, for it may damage your solid surface sink or bowl.
Agressive Substances Impact
In case agressive substances (i.e. petrol, turpentine, oven cleanser etc.) got onto sink's surface,try to wash them away as soon as it is possible, regarding general precautions.
Cleaning the Kitchen Sink
To keep your solid surface sink bright and fresh, periodically wash it using general non-abrasive cleaning substance and water. Fill the 1/4 of the sink with water, add cleaning substance, and use this mixture to clean the whole sink, and then leave it for 15 minutes. Finally, rinse the sink with running water.

Sinks and bowls made of dark color solid surface require special handling and delicate maintenance.
